{"id":3221,"date":"2024-12-15T10:17:58","date_gmt":"2024-12-15T10:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.haimangiato.com\/?p=3221"},"modified":"2024-12-15T10:17:58","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T10:17:58","slug":"cooked-carrots-in-a-light-buttery-mustard-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.haimangiato.com\/pl\/cooked-carrots-in-a-light-buttery-mustard-sauce\/","title":{"rendered":"Cooked Carrots in a Light Buttery Mustard Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This side dish will only take about 25 minutes of your time but the end result is extremely satisfying.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">Serves 4:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">about 500 g of carrots, peeled and cut into rounds &#8211; about 1 cm thick<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Dijon mustard 1 to 1 1\/2 of a teaspoon<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">a flat teaspoon of sugar<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">35 g of butter, cubed <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">salt to taste<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">120-150 ml of water<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">To finish:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">freshly ground black pepper<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">fresh parsley leaves <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mix the water, sugar, a few pinches of salt and the mustard on the bottom of a round casserole dish (about 26 cm in diameter).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Place the carrots in the dish and give everything a stir.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Dot the cubes of butter on top, put the lid on and bring to the simmer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Cook the carrots on a lower heat, stirring them occasionally, tasting the sauce in between the cooking. After about 20- 25 minutes the carrots should be tender (cook them longer if needed).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Serve warm, seasoned with some freshly ground black pepper and chopped parsley leaves.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This side dish will only take about 25 minutes of your time but the end result is extremely satisfying.
