Baked Feta with Honey, Almonds and Dry Oregano

For two portions:

  • one block of feta, about 250 g, well drained
  • 2 generous tablespoons of runny honey
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • some dry oregano
  • a small handful of toasted almonds, chopped
  • flaky sea salt

Preheat the oven to 200 C (fan assisted oven).

Roughly use half of the honey to brush the feta block all over.

Place the feta in a small baking dish and drizzle it with some olive oil.

Scatter the chopped almonds, a few pinches dry oregano and a pinch of sea salt on top of the cheese.

Bake for 20 -25 minutes. The feta should be soft and the edges caramelised.

Take the dish from the oven, drizzle the cheese with the remaining honey and serve immediately.
